Connect a compatible USB device (USB stick, digital camera, etc.) to your

ARCHOS, using the supplied host cable. See

USB Host Connection

To use this function on an ARCHOS 5 or ARCHOS 7, you will need to purchase

the optional DVR Station, Mini Dock or Battery Dock.

Connect an optional add-on. See

ARCHOS add-ons.

SIM CARD SLOT

Your telecom’s SIM card is to be placed into the small slot on

the top of the device. To learn how to install/remove the SIM

card, see Installing the SIM Card / Removing the SIM Card.

ATTENTION: Before inserting or removing the SIM card, make sure the device is

completely shut off!

BUILT-IN LOUDSPEAKER

The ARCHOS is equipped with a single speaker (ARCHOS 5/5g) or two speakers (ARCHOS 7).

LEG STAND

Your ARCHOS is equipped with a leg stand, located on the back of the device.

Carefully pull it out, and it will allow your ARCHOS to stand by itself on a at,

stable surface.

INSTALLING THE SIM CARD

ATTENTION: Before inserting or removing the SIM card, make sure the device is

completely shut off!

Pull out the plastic ‘dummy’ SIM card.

Separate the SIM card cap from the ‘dummy’ card.

Insert your SIM card into the cap.

Make sure you place it circuit-side down accord-

ing to the picture and slide it under the small nub

as shown.
