While

the engine is running by the ignition key;

Set the parking brake

Place

the transmission

neutral.

With your foot off the brake

pedal,

press and

release

the

button 2

times within 2 seconds. The LED will flash

3 times and the parking

lights will turn on to confirm the system has entered quick stop mode.

Remove the keys from the ignition, the

vehicle will

remain running

quick stop mode.

Exit the

vehicle and

close all vehicle

doors.

Within 1 minute of step

press the

button to lock

the

vehicle's

doors. The vehicle will

shutdown and sound 2 short chirps then 1

long

chirp to confirm ready mode is set.

The system will

exit remote start ready mode if any of the following occur:

Open any door

Open the hood or trunk (if connected)

Press the brake

Release the parking brake

Turn

the ignition
